Profile
Treva completed a 34-year career with the federal government working as a chemist at the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Defense, Department of the Army and the Food and Drug Administration. She managed environmental programs in many of these agencies and she has comprehensive knowledge of the major environmental statutes and their implementing regulations. Additionally, she has knowledge of chemical processes, principles and methodologies. After leaving the federal government, she worked at the National Asian Pacific Center on Aging and the National Older Worker Career Center until April, 2014. After retiring, she has kept busy with many outside activities in the community including participating as a patient partner for PaTH.
Education
Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, Morgan State University; Master of Science in Environmental Science and Toxicology, American University. Have co-authored publications as well as chaired numerous committees relating to public service.
